The Victron SmartSolar MPPT 100/50 is a solar charge controller with an MPPT algorithm and a stated efficiency of 98%, suitable for 12 and 24 V DC systems. It handles a photovoltaic array with a maximum voltage of up to 100 V and a charging current to the battery of 50 A, with a maximum rated solar generator power of 700 W at 12 V and 1400 W at 24 V.
Bluetooth is integrated: with the VictronConnect app, the controller can be configured and the charging performance monitored from a smartphone or tablet without additional cables. The internal temperature sensor automatically compensates the charging parameters based on the ambient temperature. The controller has a dedicated DC load output, allowing DC loads to be powered directly without going through the battery.
