Multiplus Victron, the 230 V 80 A battery charger with power inverter and booster.
One device, multiple functions
If the vehicle is not connected to the 230 V mains, Multiplus works as a power inverter, drawing 12 V current from the battery to convert it to 230 V AC.
When the motorhome is connected to the 230 V mains, Multiplus becomes an advanced multi-stage battery charger that charges the leisure battery, and thanks to the integrated bypass, simultaneously routes the AC current to the vehicle's appliances.
In the event that the power required by the equipment exceeds that provided by the power supply, Multiplus becomes a 230 V Booster that, drawing from the leisure battery, provides an additional power boost to support the AC current coming from the mains, allowing the startup of large equipment such as air conditioners, coffee machines, and hair dryers.
Installation
It can be used individually, or up to 6 Multiplus units can be connected in parallel to achieve higher output power.
Configuration and control
The functions of Multiplus can be conveniently programmed using the DIP switches, or by connecting a PC and downloading the dedicated configuration software.
It is also possible to monitor the operation of Multiplus directly from the Digital MultiControl GX control panel mounted inside the vehicle.
