40 A MPPT Solar Charge Controller

The Di-Tec 40 A MPPT solar charge controller manages the charging of onboard batteries from photovoltaic systems on 12 or 24 V systems, with automatic voltage recognition. The stated conversion efficiency is 98% and the maximum power point tracking efficiency exceeds 99.9%, achieved through tracking algorithms that quickly identify the MPP even in variable conditions.

It is compatible with liquid, gel, AGM and lithium batteries; the charging parameters are configurable and the default voltage varies according to the selected chemistry. A remote temperature sensor allows for temperature compensation to extend battery life, while an internal automatic power reduction function intervenes in case of overtemperature. The LCD display shows the operating data and the status of the system in real time. External communication takes place via an RS485 interface on an RJ11 connector. The maximum input power is 520 W at 12 V and 1040 W at 24 V, with a maximum voltage on the PV terminal of 100 V at -20 °C and 95 V at 25 °C.
