Raymarine 5 m Extension Cable for VHF Ray90
The 5 m extension cable is the accessory that extends the connection between the radio unit and a remote station in the Raymarine Ray90 system. The Ray90 is a modular black-box fixed VHF radio: the transceiver is installed in a sheltered location while the RayMic handset and optional remote speaker are placed at the helm station. This cable allows the remote station to be placed further away from the main unit when the length of the original cable is not sufficient to reach the desired location.
The Ray90 system supports up to two microphones, Class D DSC with integrated GPS, channel scanning, dual-watch, tri-watch, weather alarms, megaphone and fog horn, with NMEA 2000 and NMEA 0183 connectivity. The extension cable does not add any functions to the radio: it is used exclusively to increase the distance between the radio unit and the remote handset or speaker.
