The Aldebaran searchlight by Osculati is an adjustable LED searchlight with a die-cast aluminum housing, coated with highly corrosion-resistant resins and completely watertight. The head rotates 355° horizontally at two selectable speeds and 50° vertically, providing comprehensive coverage of the observation area. The central LED has a power of 40+40 W for a total power consumption of 54 W, equivalent to over 100 W from a traditional lamp: 3000 lumens, 6000 K color temperature, and 200,000 candelas of intensity. The useful range at 0.25 lux is rated at 895 m. The central LED is replaceable in the event of failure. The searchlight is protected against electromagnetic interference.

The light operates in two selectable modes: Spot with a concentrated 20° beam and Flood with a diffused 45° beam. The console joystick control is included with a 4.5 m cable. A second joystick can be added using the dual-port cable, or the joystick can be replaced by or supplemented with a wireless remote control with a range of up to 40 m, sold separately with the console mounting bracket.
