The CT590 S, a latest-generation dual-band radio, is easy to use and ideal for those who need a “basic” device that is also equipped with numerous features and characteristics that make it fully featured. Its robustness and reliability are guaranteed by the aluminum chassis. The CT590 S operates on the VHF 144-146MHz and UHF 430-440MHz frequency bands and has 128 memory channels. Its high performance ensures excellent long-distance communication, thanks also to the 1750Hz tone, which allows access to repeater links. It features a flashlight for nighttime illumination, an FM radio receiver 87.5-108MHz, 50 CTCSS tones, and 208 DCS codes, allowing the creation of “sub-channels” to communicate with a small group of people. The LCD display features adjustable backlighting in 3 different colors, which can be assigned to various types of use (reception, transmission, etc.).
