The Lewmar Low Profile manhole is an anodized aluminum deck hatch that protrudes by only 25 mm from the deck surface: its low profile lowers the center of gravity and reduces the obstruction in walkways. The 8 mm acrylic glass (10 mm for size 60 and round size 22) ensures transparency and impact resistance. The hatch is CE approved for Area 2.
It opens from the outside using the handles located on the deck. The integrated friction mechanism keeps the hatch open at any position up to 95° of opening, including the maximum, without the need for support rods. The anodized aluminum structure resists corrosion and the curved profile increases the rigidity of the assembly. The mounting flange protrudes 15 mm; the cutting measurements may vary if the optional counter flange is used. For quantity orders, the supplier offers a white finish or polished mirror aluminum as an alternative to the standard finish.
Available versions: rectangular sizes 03, 10, 20, 30, 40, 41, 44, 54, 60 and round sizes 18 and 22; each variant has specific dimensions and weight, selectable from the menu.
