Lewmar Synchro Quick Release Carabiner
The Lewmar Synchro series quick-release snap shackle is a stainless steel accessory designed to convert any Synchro block fitted with a shackle into an easily removable block. The quick-release mechanism allows the block to be disconnected from the structure without tools, even with the line under load. The construction is entirely in stainless steel.
Each snap shackle is sized for the same size block: the Ø 4 mm pin and the maximum working loads range from 450 kg for the 50 mm version up to 2000 kg for the 90 mm version, with a safety factor of two relative to the declared breaking load for the 50 mm version. The supplier classifies them within the equipment for blocks on Lewmar Synchro series sheaves.
Available versions for blocks: 50 mm (max working load 450 kg), 60 mm (800 kg), 72 mm (1100 kg) and 90 mm (2000 kg).
