Lewmar VX1L Low/High Winch Kit (700W) 12 Volt
The Lewmar VX1L is a low-profile electric anchor winch designed for boats from 9 to 13 metres. Compared to the standard VX series, it frees up space below deck while maintaining the same performance: an 800 W 12 V in-line motor paired with an IP67-rated waterproofed planetary gearbox. This version is supplied without the rope locker bell.
The drum accepts 6 mm chain and 12 to 16 mm rope. The pulling capacity reaches 920 kg at peak and 230 kg continuously, with a maximum recovery speed of 21 m/min and a continuous speed of 5 m/min. The stated current consumption is 105 A: the manufacturer recommends a 90 A magnetic-thermal protection device. The magnet and chain sensor (code 02.355.20) are pre-installed; the remote control switch is included. The clutch features manual release. The construction combines stainless steel and composite materials. The drum is also available in an 8 mm version within the VX range.
