Lewmar Delta® galvanized steel anchor

The Lewmar Delta anchor in galvanized steel is a fixed-fluke anchor certified by the Lloyd register as a high-holding-power anchor. The Delta design combines three characteristics that are difficult to find together: holding power on any seabed, including weeds; the ability to quickly regain its grip after the boat rotates around the anchor point; and holding power that increases proportionally with the wind. Tests conducted by the supplier indicate one of the best holding-to-weight ratios in its class. Lewmar offers a lifetime guarantee against breakage.

The fluke penetrates the seabed at the correct angle without moving parts subject to wear or jamming. The chain attaches to the bow eye, and the recommended diameter ranges from 6–7 mm for the smaller sizes up to 10 mm for sizes of 20 kg and above. The main dimensions of the 4 kg size are: length 514 mm, fluke opening 387 mm, width 228 mm, steel thickness 8 mm, height 210 mm. Each size is recommended for a specific maximum hull length: the 4 kg size is suitable for hulls up to 7 m.
