FNI Blind Dome Nut
The A2 stainless steel domed cap nut, manufactured according to the DIN 1587 standard, covers the end of the screw, protecting the exposed thread from corrosion, impacts, and accidental contact. The hemispherical cap completely encloses the blind side, unlike a standard nut that is open on both sides. The internal thread is M10, derived from the original English name indicating a diameter of 10 mm.
A2 stainless steel ensures corrosion resistance in damp and marine environments without the need for additional surface protection. Its typical application is the fastening of exposed hardware where aesthetics and thread safety are as important as mechanical strength.
