The Egis Add-A-Battery Remote Relay Plus relay combines VSR and TDR functions in a single device for 12V DC power management. The VSR (Voltage Sensitive Relay) function automatically connects the batteries in parallel when it detects that the main battery bank is charging, isolating them again when the voltage drops, so that the service battery does not drain the starting battery. The TDR (Time Delay Relay) function adds a programmable delay to load management, useful for preventing sudden switching on and off that could damage sensitive equipment.

The relay supports a continuous current of 80A with peaks of up to 125A on two power terminals. The control logic is remotely accessible, allowing installation in positions that are not directly reachable without sacrificing configuration. It belongs to the Egis series of smart relays for DC systems.
