Ogive-shaped zinc sacrificial anode, designed for Flex-O-Fold folding propellers. The anode is positioned at the tip of the propeller and protects the propeller assembly and hub from electrolysis, corroding preferentially compared to the alloy components it is intended to preserve.
The diameter specified by the supplier is Ø 70 mm, sized for the corresponding Flex-O-Fold propellers. Periodically replacing the anode when it is approximately 50% consumed maintains effective cathodic protection.
