The ORION SMART XS 12/12V 50 A is a 50 A DC-DC voltage booster designed for dual-battery systems (e.g. starter battery + leisure battery)
It is used to charge the leisure battery from an alternator, ensuring a precise and controlled charge.

MAIN FEATURES
- Smart alternator compatibility: Detects whether the engine is running and activates the battery charger only when the alternator is supplying power. This way, it only draws power when necessary
- 4-stage charging algorithm: During minor discharges, the absorption time is short to prevent overcharging. After a deep discharge, the absorption time is extended to fully charge the battery
- Protections: Orion XS offers protection against overload, short circuits and excessive temperatures. It automatically shuts down in the event of low temperatures or input voltage that is too low
- Remote on/off: It can be switched on and off remotely via a switch or battery management system
- Connectivity: The unit can be monitored and programmed via Bluetooth by downloading the VicrtonConnect app, or via remote wired control (optional)
- Parallel connection: Multiple Orion XS units can be connected in parallel to increase the output current
