How to choose curtains and accessories for the truck cab
Properly equipping the cab improves rest during stops and protects the interior from the sun, insects, and prying eyes. The products are divided into two main categories: blackout and privacy fabrics (curtain sets, sunshade curtains) and protective accessories (seat covers, floor mats, insect screens).
Curtain sets: material and range
Truck curtain sets — often called night sets or the night range — cover the windshield, side windows, and rear window. Polyester offers good light resistance and is easy to clean; microfiber is softer and quieter while driving. Some Lampa ranges, such as the Luxury Pro-Cabin and Luxury Smart, are available in multiple color combinations, making it easier to coordinate the cab interior. The Premiere microfiber range is designed for those seeking a more understated look.
Truck window insect screens
Truck insect screens fit onto the cab side windows and allow for nighttime ventilation without exposing the interior to insects. Check compatibility with the cab model before purchasing, as window dimensions vary significantly between brands.
Seat covers: material and fit
Seat covers protect the original seats from wear and spills. Microfiber (Monica range) ensures breathability and a neat appearance; Skeentex (Luana range) is a synthetic material that is more resistant to abrasion, ideal for those who frequently get in and out of the vehicle. Check whether the product is universal or designed for a specific cab family.
Custom-fit floor mats: rubber or carpet
Custom-fit Eco Rubber floor mats are shaped to the exact floor layout for each model and year of production — Volvo FH, Iveco Eurocargo, and others. Compared to universal mats, custom-fit mats do not move, cover the edges better, and are easier to remove for cleaning. Before choosing, identify the exact vehicle model and year of registration, as there may be variants even within the same family.
How to find the right accessory for your vehicle
For curtains and insect screens, the key factor is the cab brand and series (short or long), not just the tractor brand. For custom-fit floor mats and seat covers, also check the year of production: the product pages indicate the applicable range. The Lampa code shown on the product page allows you to check compatibility if you are unsure between two references.
