Voltage-sensitive switch (charge distributor for two batteries) and emergency battery parallel connection. This switch senses the charge level of two batteries (or battery banks) and ensures excellent charge management for the second bank. The switch allows two normally isolated banks to be connected when it detects a charging source (engine alternator or battery charger). When a charging source is active, the switch first allows the main bank (engine battery) to charge; when it reaches 13.2 V, the switch opens the circuit and allows the second battery (auxiliary battery) to charge. The switch also functions as an emergency parallel connection. The parallel connection can be activated manually via the knob or via the (on)/off switch on the dashboard.
