LPG and methane spare parts
Reducers, injectors, overhaul kits and components for LPG and methane systems in cars. The choice depends on the injection system installed in the vehicle: every reducer and injector is specific to the make, ECU model and operating pressure, so the original component code is the mandatory starting point. Le marche di LPG and methane spare parts
Reducers, injectors, overhaul kits and components for LPG and methane systems in cars. The choice depends on the injection system installed in the vehicle: every reducer and injector is specific to the make, ECU model and operating pressure, so the original component code is the mandatory starting point.
How to choose the right LPG and methane spare parts for your system
Start with the part number of the component to be replaced
Unlike generic accessories, spare parts for gas systems must precisely match the installed hardware. Before looking for a pressure regulator or injector, identify the make and model of the system (often listed on a label under the hood or in the installer's documentation) and note the original part number. The most common searches concern specific components such as the BRC Genius pressure regulator in the 800, 1200, and 1500 mbar variants, or IN03 MY09 injectors: even a single-digit difference identifies a different part.
Pressure regulator operating pressure
Pressure regulators are distinguished mainly by their gas outlet pressure, expressed in mbar. The most common values are 800, 1200, and 1500 mbar. The correct pressure depends on the type of injectors and the paired control unit: replacing a regulator with a pressure different from the original compromises the system's operation. Always check this specification in the technical installation documentation or on the removed regulator.
Injectors: code, color, and generation
LPG injectors are identified by an alphanumeric code and often by a color indicating their flow rate or generation (e.g., BRC IN03 blue or orange). It is essential to respect both the code and the version (MY09 and similar designations indicate technical updates that are not interchangeable with previous versions). Injectors are often replaced in complete kits to ensure uniform delivery across all cylinders.
Repair and overhaul kits
Overhaul kits contain diaphragms, O-rings, valves, and other wear-prone components in the regulator. They are the most economical solution when the regulator body is intact. Compatibility is strictly mandatory here as well: kits are built around a specific model (e.g., BRC Genius MAX, Autogas Italia RPG09, StarGas Hercules C, Landi Renzo IG1) and are not interchangeable between different families.
Accessories: filters and additives
Gas system maintenance is often accompanied by the care of the gasoline circuit, used during starting or in emergency mode. Products such as STP fuel injector cleaners (available in gasoline and diesel versions) are included as a supplement to the routine maintenance of the dual-fuel vehicle.
