Safety Instructions for the BRC Genius-MAX Safety Valve (2014-)
1. Before installing and maintaining the valve, always disconnect the power supply and ensure that the valve is depressurized.
2. Do not load the valve beyond the specified operating limit.
3. Before opening the valve housing, ensure that there is no pressure in the system.
4. All maintenance work on the valve must be carried out only by qualified and trained personnel.
5. Regularly check all safety-relevant valve components for wear and damage.
6. Do not make any modifications to the valve unless expressly authorized by the manufacturer.
7. If unusual noises, vibrations, or leaks occur, immediately take the valve out of service and contact the manufacturer.
8. Do not use the valve in potentially explosive atmospheres unless it is expressly authorized for such use.
9. Before replacing seals or other components, ensure that all pressure has been released.
10. Have the valve regularly overhauled and inspected according to the manufacturer's instructions to ensure optimal operation.
