Thule offers a wide range of car bike racks , designed to meet different bike transport needs. Here's an overview of the main types available:

Towbar bike rack
These bike racks attach to your vehicle's towbar and are ideal for carrying heavy bicycles or e-bikes. Models like the Thule VeloCompact 927 offer a robust, lightweight solution with easy installation and high load capacity.

Roof bike rack
These bike racks mount to the roof rack bars of your car. They offer a practical option for those who want unobstructed access to the trunk. Models like the Thule 564 FASTRIDE are designed for easy installation and removal of bikes.

Rear bike racks
These models attach to the rear door of your car, offering an economical and easy-to-use solution, ideal for vehicles without a towbar or roof rack. The Thule Raceway 2 is an example of a rear-mounted bike rack that combines safety and ease of use.

Tips for choosing a car bike rack:

  • Vehicle type: Check the compatibility of the bike rack with your vehicle, considering the presence of a tow hook or roof bars.
  • Number and type of bicycles: Consider the number of bicycles you need to transport and whether they are standard, electric, or with special features.
  • Ease of use: Consider the ease of installation, loading and unloading of bikes, as well as access to the trunk during transport.
  • Safety: Make sure the bike rack offers secure bike locking systems and complies with safety standards.
