Di-Tec Primer surface cleaner and activator 500 ml

Di-Tec Primer 1000 is a ready-to-use primer that cleans and activates surfaces before the application of MS-Polymer, SMP or SPU-based adhesives and sealants, improving their adhesion. It is formulated for the pre-treatment of bare aluminum, steel, copper and brass, powder-coated and enameled metals, polyester and glass-reinforced plastic (GRP), ABS, PVC and BY BLEND. For painted and enameled metals, the supplier recommends a preliminary compatibility check.

Application is simple: the surface must be clean, dry and free from grease and dust. Soak a clean cloth with the primer and rub the area to be treated without using an excessive amount. After approximately 5 minutes of drying time, proceed with the sealant or adhesive; application must be carried out within 6 hours of treatment. If the treated surfaces are to be painted later, the supplier indicates that preliminary compatibility tests should be carried out and the primer applied only to the bonding area or the adjacent areas masked with adhesive tape. The product is transparent and comes in a 500 ml bottle.
