The Di-Tec cable gland in high-impact plastic allows electrical cables to pass through the roof of a camper, boat, or flat surface while maintaining a seal against water, dust, and debris. The low-profile design, only 27 mm high, reduces the external footprint and aerodynamic impact. The stated protection rating is IPX68.
The body measures 77.5 x 27 mm and accepts cables with a diameter of 6 to 10 mm. Six internal seals are included: one pre-drilled for each of the 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10 mm diameters, plus one blind self-tapping seal to adapt to specific requirements. The integrated captive nuts simplify installation and allow for repeated installations without damaging the seat. There is no need to apply sealant to the caps, making installation cleaner and faster. The manufacturer states it is suitable for solar panels, light bars, lights, and other roof-mounted electronic devices.
