Glomex weBBoat® ePlus 5G

weBBoat® ePlus 5G is the first integrated COASTAL INTERNET 5G/4G/Wi-Fi MULTI SIM system designed by Glomex for ultra-high-speed internet browsing, ensuring stable and fast connections at distances of over 30 miles from the coast. weBBoat® Plus 5G is equipped with 4 high-performance 5G/LTE/4G/3G antennas that receive the internet signal and redirect it, increasing the signal strength inside the fiberglass boat with a secure and protected 2.4/5GHz MIMO Wi-Fi network, usable simultaneously by 32 different and authorized devices. Furthermore, if a known Wi-Fi network is present and available (for example, the marina Wi-Fi network), weBBoat® ePlus 5G will automatically connect to it to limit internet connection costs. The weBBoat ePlus 5G supports VLAN subnets when connected to an optional external managed switch provided by Glomex, allowing the creation of separate and secure networks on board. This improves overall stability and prevents unauthorized access by isolating navigation, guest, and service devices. Thanks to multi-eSIM support, SIM management is simple and immediate. The weBBoat can also integrate with Starlink or other satellite connections, ensuring a reliable failover solution. weBBoat® ePlus 5G is a PLUG&PLAY product, as the 5G module is integrated inside the dome and, for its operation, it only needs a 9 to 30 Volt power cable and one/two Micro-SIM cards for internet browsing; all this makes the system particularly easy to install. Among the most important features of the weBBoat® ePlus 5G are: • Worldwide unit: Europe, Middle East, Americas, Australia, New Zealand, Africa and Asia (except China); • Antenna dimensions: 250 x 300 mm; • Antenna weight: 1.2 kg; • Physical micro SIM and multi eSIM support; • Antennas: 4x 5G/LTE/4G/3G + 2x 2.4/5 GHz Wi-Fi MiMo; • 5G up to 2.5 Gbps download; • LTE CAT23 up to 1 Gbps; • CPU arm cortex-A7 800 MHz, RAM 256 MB DDR3; • Power supply 9–30 Vdc, average consumption 150–300 mA; • Ethernet ports: 2 (1 LAN + 1 WAN); • Automatic switching mode (Wi-Fi, mobile, SAT/Starlink); • Automatic APN and SMS management; • Encrypted connection for remote configuration and support; It is also possible to purchase the version with an integrated SIM Extender (29.921.25), which allows the use of up to 4 SIM cards nearby and flexible positioning of the device thanks to an RJ45 Ethernet cable up to 100 meters. This guarantees optimal performance in terms of both speed and coastal coverage. The connection is made via the LAN port with a standard Ethernet cable.
