Osculati Oblix Scalzata High-Resistance Braided Rope 8 mm Grey - 10...
The Unsheathed Oblix Braid by Osculati is a technical rope constructed with 12-strand OBLIX™ yarn, a high-tenacity material that the supplier states has breaking loads equivalent to Dyneema. The unsheathed construction, meaning it has no outer sheath, and the Teflon EcoElite™ impregnation make it water-repellent and very easy to splice.
Its range of applications is wide: halyards, lashings, hydraulic cylinder halyards, running rigging, winches, and tender towing lines, in both static and dynamic applications. The abrasion and UV resistance stated by the supplier is described as outstanding, ensuring long-lasting performance in deck applications exposed to sunlight and continuous friction.
This version is available in grey with a diameter of 8 mm and a breaking load of 5800 kg, sold in 100-metre coils. Single metres are not available for purchase.
