Osculati High-Resistance Scalata Oblix Braided Rope 5 mm Red - 100 ...
The Treccia Oblix Scalzata Osculati is a 12-strand OBLIX™ yarn impregnated rope, constructed without an outer sheath to facilitate splicing. The breaking load stated by the supplier is comparable to that of Dyneema, with abrasion and UV resistance described by the supplier itself as incredible. The Teflon EcoElite™ treatment prevents water absorption, maintaining weight and performance even in marine environments.
Applications covered by the range include halyards, lashings, hydraulic cylinder halyards, steering lines, winches, and tender pulling lines, as well as any static and dynamic application requiring a small-diameter, ultra-strong rope. Its 5 mm diameter and 2200 kg breaking load place it in the category of technical working ropes. Sold in a 100-metre reel; individual lengths are not available for purchase.
