Victron Energy Battery Combiner VICTRON Cyrix-I - 46x46x80 is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
This is a powerful relay that, via a microprocessor, automatically connects the batteries in parallel when one of them has reached the preset voltage and separates them when the voltage drops below the FLOATING level. The Cyrix-I is an excellent alternative to diode isolators because there is no voltage drop. The standard installation involves the alternator connected directly to the starting battery. The service battery and bow thruster are connected to the starting battery with the Cyrix-I. When the Cyrix-I senses that the starting battery is charged, it will activate, allowing the other batteries to be charged in parallel. The Cyrix-I monitors the voltage of both batteries. It will therefore activate if, for example, the service battery is under charge.
