Ancore Fortress

FORTRESS FX-7 ANCHOR - 1.8 KG. A name that in the nautical world is almost synonymous with holding power: the Fortress is universally considered one of the highest-performing light anchors on the market, and comes with a lifetime warranty. Its real special feature is the ability to disassemble it and store it flat in a small space, while still remaining very light to handle even for a single crew member. Only on the Fortress can the flukes be adjusted from the standard 32° to 45°, increasing holding power on soft mud bottoms by up to 400%: a huge advantage for those who often sail in estuaries, lagoons, or muddy bays.Technical features:- Lightweight and rust-proof aluminum-magnesium alloy- Disassemblable anchor for minimal space on board- Adjustable flukes 32°/45° (+400% holding power on soft mud bottoms)- Supplied with flukes (mud palms)- Fortress lifetime warranty- Size range from 1.8 kg (FX-7, boats up to 8 m) to 31.3 kg (FX-125, boats 27-46 m)This model: FX-7, weight 1.8 kg (4 lb), suitable for boats up to 8 m.
